Intuitively focused. My massage style is based on the decades of techniques and training in Swedish massage, reflexology, meridian therapy, sports massage, hydrotherapy, general wellness, and kinesiology. As well as the subtle and profound healing of Reiki Natural Healing.

Body therapies are a natural form of bringing the body/mind connection into equilibrium and balance. It can be a deeply healing process of the body/mind/spirit.

LaStone Therapy
At TheReiki.Center, our LaStone Therapy treatment harnesses the power of both heated basalt and cooled marble stones strategically positioned on or beneath the body, as well as incorporated into a soothing massage.
The combination of temperature variations, the interplay of warmth and coolness, serves to invigorate the Circulatory and Lymphatic systems. This, in turn, promotes the removal of metabolic waste, relaxes muscle tension, and alleviates inflammation and stress, resulting in a profound sense of well-being.

– Dying Consciously ~The Greatest Journey
Death is the ultimate journey of liberation. We want to complete our unfinished business and be prepared to go on our greatest journey into infinity. We want to take the steps to journey home as cleanly as possible. Ancient teachings show us the way, describing the terrain and giving directions. In western culture there are not many teachings for after we die. Most have been drawn on brief visits during near death experiences. The spiritual men and women of Tibet and the Americas, however, have explored the landscape beyond death in great detail.

The Greatest Journey is a free service dedicated to helping people die consciously. This means that we seek to maintain consciousness intact through the journey of death and beyond. It is designed for all persons involved in the dying process: The individual, family members, and friends. It offers a message of hope that is possible to bring dignity and peace back to the dying process and teaches us how with easy to follow steps.

In the West, we no longer remember how to die with grace and dignity. We shuttle the dying off to hospitals where death is considered a ‘disease’ and extraordinary measures are taken to prolong life at all costs. Families do not know how to come to closure with the passing of a loved one. Many people die in fear, with unresolved issues, not having said the ‘I love yous’ and ‘I forgive yous” that would be so healing for them and their families. We have tried to make death invisible, thinking that if we ignore it long enough, it will go away.

The message of the Greatest Journey is that we can come to the end of a life with grace. Its purpose is to assist the person who is making the journey beyond death to do so in a peaceful manner, full of light.

The great death rites practiced by the shamanic traditions allow us to understand the kind of psychological and emotional closure needed. They provide specific steps to bring reconciliation and healing both to the loved ones and to the person dying.
